OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST - OTR

PERMANENT POSITION IN A SNF SETUP.

We have an immediate need for CERTIFIED OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST (OTR-L) for growing NURSING FACILITY.

TAKE A FULL TIME POSITION - OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST (OTR) - SKILLED NURSING FACILITY.

This staff therapist is directly responsible for delivering effective, safe and state of the art therapy treatments to those individuals or groups of individuals requiring rehabilitation services. Responsibilities will also include accurate and timely completion of appropriate clinical and billing documentation as well as effective communication with all the members of the interdisciplinary team. In addition, the staff therapist may be responsible for the clinical supervision of assistants, aides and/or students in a given setting.

:Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
:Working knowledge of the managed care industry.
:Knowledge of Medicare regulations/requirements.
:Working knowledge of palliative care for the terminally ill patient.
:Knowledgeable of the care for the chronically ill and frail elderly.
:Excellent time management, problem solving and customer service skills.
:Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
:Able to work autonomously and manage their caseload.
:Operational knowledge of computerized clinical documentation and office application systems including the use of laptop/notebook computers.

Requirements
Need to be Licensed Therapist with minimum 1 year of experience working in SNF, Home-Health or Out-patient.
Valid License
Recent TB, Physical and HepB
Valid CPR
Driver's License and willing to do Drug Screen and Background checks.
